Dacor Darwin Air and Darwin Console Computers

If you have recently purchased a Dacor
Darwin Air or Darwin Console Dive Computer, please read the following safety
notice regarding the recall of certain computers. HTM Sport S.p.A.,
Manufacturer of Dacor Dive Computers, has discovered that during production, a
small number of Dacor Darwin Dive Computers were improperly calibrated,
resulting in erroneous calculations displayed regarding "No Deco Time", "Deco
Time", "Air Time", "Desat Time" and "No Fly" times. The specific products that
may have this defect are in the following groups:
Darwin Air Dive Computers Serial Numbers between: 3265 and 3415
Darwin Console Computers Serial Numbers between: 8503 and 8592

Light & Motion

Effective
immediately, Light & Motion announces a Safety Recall on the Sunray Mod Light.
There have been a few incidences in which the light inadvertently turned on
while unattended. It has been determined that if the light accidentally becomes
partially flooded, it is possible for the light to turn on by itself. If you
suspect the light has been flooded, it is important to unscrew the silver bezel
and remove the light bulb from the socket. Light & Motion is taking the
cautious route and issuing a Safety Recall and is requesting that the lights be
sent in for upgrading. Please contact the company to obtain an RMA number to
facilitate the servicing.

UWATEC
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Office of Information and

UWATEC is conducting a voluntary recall of the Smart PRO and
Smart COM dive computers. A software programming error can render audio and
some visual alert signals inoperable, and under certain conditions, freeze the
screen. UWATEC will replace your Smart PRO or Smart COM computer
with a new one within ninety (90) days or sooner. In order to obtain a

nearest authorized UWATEC dealer or distributor.

CPSC, OCEANIC USA ANNOUNCE RECALL OF SCUBA
REGULATORS
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Oceanic
USA, of San Leandro, Calif., is voluntarily recalling all Oceanic CDX first
stage regulators used for scuba diving. Extreme vibration, a high oscillation
of the internal components, can occur for an unknown reason within these CDX
regulators, which can cause an air leakage underwater. Divers could run out of
air and drown.
Consumers should stop using the
recalled CDX regulators immediately and take them to any Authorized Oceanic
Dealer for a Retrofit that consists of replacement of one part and the addition

SCUBA PRO CONSUMER ALERT
SCUBAPRO / UWATEC has issued and important
alert regarding the purchase of their of regulators. If SCUBAPRO
regulators are purchased from non-authorized dealers, the internet or mail
order. SCUBAPRO and their authorized
dealers will not be responsible to repair your regulator under the
lifetime limited warranty, nor will you be included in the database they use to
contact customers regarding post-sale information such as upgrades and warranty

1995 ALADIN AIR X NITROX DIVE COMPUTERS RECALLED
UWATEC is conducting a voluntary recall of the Aladin Air X
Nitrox dive computer manufactured in 1995. To determine if you have one
of these units, turn the computer over and look for the test date in the lower
right hand corner. The affected units will have the number of the month
followed by a decimal point and the number 95. If the test date is a year other
than 1995, your dive computer is not included in this recall.
Consumers should stop using the affected dive computers immediately and
contact UWATEC for a free replacement. Consumers will receive the current
model, Aladin Air Z Nitrox. For more information, consumers can contact UWATEC

PADI RECALLS RECREATIONAL DIVE PLANNERS
Recent PADI Recreational Dive Planners have inaccurate or missing numbers and
should not be used for planning dives. The tables were printed from June 2002
through January 2003 and bear the mark "Printed in the USA". The product
number and production code resemble "Product No. 60049 XXXPDJ2". Visit the
