Acqua Mundo - Guarujá, Brazil  **note this site is in Portuguese
The largest aquarium in the South America with almost 1,300,000 liters of salt and fresh water exhibits and more than 5,000 specimens most of which are  South American species.
 
Aksarben Aquarium and Nature Center, Louisville, Nebraska
12,000 square foot facility including an aquarium, terrarium, natural history classroom, World Herald Auditorium, orientation and display areas.  Various species are on display and are either native to Nebraska or have been successfully introduced here. Exhibits depict a cross-section of species found in the state's many ponds, lakes and streams. Many are quite common, while others are rarely sighted.

Aquaworld Aquarium, Crete, Greece
Started in 1995, and still building, Aquaworld is a small, "hand-made" aquarium featuring local sea-life and a selection of both Greek and more exotic reptiles. The vast majority of the animals on display are either fishermen's "by-catch", unwanted pets or creatures rescued from unsuitable environments.
 
Argentario Mediterranean Aquarium, Italy **note this site is in Italian
A new aquarium is born on 15 June 2001. It specializes in Mediterranean flora and fauna with almost 100 species. We already have the sea exposition, Marine Biology Laboratory and Cetacean Rehabilitation Centre, linked to Centro Studi Cetacei.
 
The Berkshire Museum, Pittsfield Massachusetts
Located in the lower level of the Berkshire museum, this aquarium displays species both local and worldwide ranging from lionfish & moray eels to piranha and living corals.  With over twenty aquariums 30 to 535 gallons there is a lot to see and learn.  Visitor's can even  examine and touch live sea stars and sea urchins.

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, San Pedro, California
Located just steps from the ocean at Cabrillo Beach, The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is a non-profit public aquarium/museum dedicated to promoting knowledge and awareness of the marine life of Southern California through recreational, educational, and research programs.
 
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Clearwater, Florida
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, working Aquarium dedicated to public education, marine research, animal assisted therapy and the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured or sick whales, dolphins, otters and sea turtles. 
 
Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium, Cold Spring, NY
After 99 years as the New York State trout hatchery, this facility opened as a non profit educational facility in 1982. The Aquarium displays the largest living collection of freshwater reptiles, fish and amphibians,  all of which are native to the wilds of State of New York.
 
Curacao Sea Aquarium - Curacao, Dutch Antilles
In 1984, The Curacao Sea Aquarium was developed directly on the oceanfront with a healthy coral reef only a stone’s throw from the entrance. This beautiful aquarium complex is one of the most unique in the world because of its ‘open-water-system’, which means that sea water is continuously pumped into the aquaria
 
The Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Daupin Island, Alabama
The Estuarium is an exciting educational facility highlighting the four key habitats of coastal Alabama: the Mobile Tensaw River Delta, Mobile Bay, the Barrier Islands and the Northern Gulf of Mexico. It includes the 10,000 square foot Exhibit Hall and Living Marsh Boardwalk. This facility is a showcase of the plants, animals, and other natural resources found in the Estuary and its surrounding marine habitats.
 
Deepsea World Aquarium, North Queensferry, Fife, Scotland
Scotland's National Aquarium featuring The longest underwater tunnel in the world that will will convey you through Scotland's million gallon indoor ocean.  Glide along the moving safari watching divers feed the largest collection of sharks.  You can even participate in the adrenaline-fuelled adventure shark dive.

Blue Planet Aquarium Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Britain's biggest and best aquarium will take you from the misty Scottish highlands, down the mighty Amazon, across the depths of Lake Malawi finally emerging through steamy coastal mangroves and crashing surf of rocky shores, into the colorful splendor of a shark inhabited Caribbean reef.

Exploris The Northern Irelands Aquarium Portaferry,  Northern Ireland

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk -  Norwalk, CT

The National Aquarium, Washington, DC
Established in 1873. It's the oldest aquarium in the America and here  you can get face-to-fin with more than 250 species of marine life in 80 tanks. There are numerous varieties of salt and fresh-water fish, as well as colorful eels, and everyone's favorite the shark tank.
 
New York Aquarium - Coney Island, NY

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, Nagoya, Japan

One of the largest aquariums in Japan with a "Trip to the Antarctic" theme.
Exhibits about 30,000 creatures from 450 species, which live in five oceans from Japan to the Antarctic. Plenty of interest, including Ocean Theater with a giant screen, a corner to experience a virtual adventure in the deep sea by submersible, turtle wandering tank
 
Sea World of California, San Diego, California
