Acqua Mundo - Guarujá, Brazil **note this

The largest aquarium in the South America with almost 1,300,000 liters of salt and fresh water exhibits and more
than 5,000 specimens most of which are South American species.

Aksarben
Aquarium and Nature Center, Louisville, Nebraska
12,000 square foot facility including an aquarium,
terrarium, natural history classroom, World Herald Auditorium, orientation
and display areas. Various species are on display and are either
native to Nebraska or have been successfully introduced here. Exhibits
depict a cross-section of species found in the state's many ponds, lakes
and streams. Many are quite common, while others are rarely sighted.
Aquaworld Aquarium,
Crete, Greece
Started in 1995, and still building, Aquaworld is a
small, "hand-made" aquarium featuring local sea-life and a selection of
both Greek and more exotic reptiles. The vast majority of the animals on
display are either fishermen's "by-catch", unwanted pets or creatures
rescued from unsuitable environments.

A new aquarium is born on 15 June 2001. It specializes in
Mediterranean flora and fauna with almost 100 species. We already have the sea
exposition, Marine Biology Laboratory and Cetacean Rehabilitation Centre,
linked to Centro Studi Cetacei.

The Berkshire Museum,
Pittsfield Massachusetts
Located in the lower level of the Berkshire museum,
this aquarium displays species both local and worldwide ranging from
lionfish & moray eels to piranha and living corals. With over twenty
aquariums 30 to 535 gallons there is a lot to see and learn.
Visitor's can even examine and touch live sea stars and sea urchins.

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is a non-profit public aquarium/museum
dedicated to promoting knowledge and awareness of the marine life of
Southern California through recreational, educational, and research
programs.

- The Clearwater Marine Aquarium,
Clearwater, Florida
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a 501(c)(3),
nonprofit, working Aquarium dedicated to public education, marine
research, animal assisted therapy and the rescue, rehabilitation and
release of injured or sick whales, dolphins, otters and sea turtles.

- Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery
& Aquarium, Cold Spring, NY
After 99 years as the New York State trout hatchery, this facility opened as a non profit educational
facility in 1982. The Aquarium displays the largest living collection of
freshwater reptiles, fish and amphibians, all of which are native to the wilds
of State of New York.

In 1984, The Curacao Sea Aquarium was
developed directly on the oceanfront with a healthy coral reef only a
stone’s throw from the entrance.
This beautiful aquarium complex is one of the most unique in the world
because of its ‘open-water-system’, which means that sea water is
continuously pumped into the aquaria

The Estuarium is an exciting educational facility
highlighting the four key habitats of coastal Alabama: the Mobile Tensaw
River Delta, Mobile Bay, the Barrier Islands and the Northern Gulf of
Mexico. It includes the 10,000 square foot Exhibit Hall and Living Marsh
Boardwalk. This facility is a showcase of the plants, animals, and other
natural resources found in the Estuary and its surrounding marine
habitats.
